How to get three stars in GhoulStay: 7 front-desk tips

Anyone can fill the hotel in GhoulStay. The hard part is filling it without a single mistake and with every monster in their favourite room, which is what the third star asks for. These seven habits earn the most stars.
In short
- Three stars: no mistakes and every guest in their favourite room.
- Two stars: one mistake at most.
- Every failed attempt costs a move, even if the guest never checks in.
1. Read the whole line before your first tap
Tap any guest in line, not just the first one: their bubble shows the rooms they accept and their favourite, marked with a star. Before moving, count how many want the same room. If two monsters are fighting over the only dark room, one of them will have to settle, and that is no longer perfect.
2. The sofa is a tool, not a penalty
Sending the first guest to the waiting lounge costs no stars. Use it when the guest at the front is blocking someone with fewer options. From the sofa you can check them in whenever you like. Careful on two-sofa levels: if the lounge fills up and nobody can check in, the night is over.
3. Place guests with enemies first
Vampires and werewolves cannot stand being door to door on the same floor. Place them early and you still have room to keep them apart. Leave them for last and the only free room may be right next door. Floors don't touch: a vampire upstairs and a werewolf downstairs won't bother each other.
4. Ghosts go as late as possible
Misty Boo fits anywhere except the VIP room, and that is exactly why she is dangerous: check her in early and she takes a room someone else needs. Her favourite is the normal room; if you can, leave her until you know what is left over.
5. Look to the slime’s right
Slime dirties the free room to its right. Only ghosts and other slimes accept a dirty room. Before checking it in, ask yourself who is going next door. A ghost? Perfect. The mermaid? Pick another door.
6. The mummy costs double
The Pharaoh Mummy’s check-in costs two moves. On levels with tight moves, that detail decides everything. Count on it from the start instead of finding out at the end, one move short.
7. Boosters are for rescuing stars
From level 6 you have boosters. The Ghost Pass lets the next guest skip one rule, Room Swap swaps two checked-in guests and Magic Room turns a free room into the favourite of whoever you pick. They don’t undo a mistake, but they do prevent the next one.
And if a night goes wrong, no big deal: lives come back on their own, one every 25 minutes, and your best score on each level stays saved.
